It's pretty big! I would've been happier with 1/2 the size. But for the price, the large makes it an even that much better deal! But looks great with my stainless steel appliances, heats up to boiling FAST, and just an all-around classy kettle!

Looks good, boils water fast, easy set up & usage. I'm British and a good cup of tea is a daily requirement. Many Americans don't have a clue what a tea kettle is when they see mine ... but they all agree it's a fantastic kitchen implement even if you don't drink tea. This kettle is just perfect, great price and very functional. I've had many over the years and this is a great one. Highly recommend!

The base and the kettle itself made poorly from very cheap, lightweight material. It wobbles and most times cannot seat it .
Heats quickly though. I bought this for my granddaughter for college but will not give it to her. I don't think it is safe.
I guess it's the #1 best seller because it is cheap. Having used kettles for years I should have known that you get what you pay for.,

ASTOUNDING !!!! After my review, I received a phone call from the seller offering to replace the bad kettle. And sure enough in a few days I received a perfectly working kettle. It is all that the 5 star reviews say it is. Good value and amazing company.

I really like the Best electric kettle. It heats up fast, is easy to clean, and has an automatic shut off once the water has boiled. Highly recommend this item and the vendor I bought it from. It arrived ahead of schedule and in perfect condition.

We use this in the bathroom of a cabin that does not have running water but does have electric. We have to watch our electric usage as the cabin is off-grid. We watched the draw-down on the batteries when this was running. It had a negligible effect on the batteries. So we can use it to heat water for washing our faces, shaving, sponge baths, etc. as much as we want.

I have never plugged it in to normal electric, but I can say that it quickly boils water despite our being off-grid.

My decision was made depending upon many reviews. I spent a lot of time considering "whistle pot", stovetop, etc. This Electric Pot
made sense. Very handy and many uses. Not heavy.

I have longed for a suitable tea kettle since leaving the UK many years ago. Having the stove on in the AZ summer felt like going outside on the sidewalk without any shoes on when it was 110 outside. so having read reviews on several alternatives, I saw this one and was impressed by what people had said. they were not wrong, it is perfect for my needs. It is slightly bigger than most kettles to satisfy my large cup of tea fetish, it boils quickly and quietly and turns off when boiled.
the only improvement I could think of is that is would tell you by whistling or beeping when it boils as if you are not close by to hear the click then you may not know. this is only a minor thing though and does not take away from this being an excellent product.

Oh this kettle is so awesome. I love drinking coffee and this is way better than a coffee maker. Heats the water super fast and keeps it hot for a long time even after its off. I like the turn off feature after it ready. I like having coffe made at all times at home but I often rev wince visitors that want tea and I hate having to prepare it. Now with this kettle I just have to pour the water into the cup and put tea. Another big plus... It's matches my kitchen!!!
